*Nel will present the opportunities and challenges in ethical non-monogamy from a systems perspective and with a focus on attachment. *Mike will present on the six fundamental principles of sexual health and their relationship to Out of Control Sexual Behavior.

About the event
Penelope "Nel" Mercer (she/they), LMFT, MA, MS
Nel is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice at Mercer Therapy. Nel earned a BA in Psychology and English from Amherst College and a MA in Psychology at SDSU; and taught psychology classes at community colleges for many years. In 2015, Nel pivoted toward therapy and enrolled in SDSU’s MS in Marriage and Family Therapy program. At Mercer Therapy, Nel uses mindfulness and attachment-based modalities, along with parts work, to promote clients' growth and healing. She especially enjoys bringing her lived and professional experience to support clients embodying gender, sexual, and relational diversity.
Mike Giancola, MA, MS, LMF
Mike has been working with people experiencing Out of Control Sexual Behavior in clinical and community settings since 2005. Mike helps people understand their motivations, conflicts and values around their sexual behavior. Mike takes pride in supporting people and their loved ones during difficult moments in their lives.
